Our Range of Movement-Led Services

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy

At Better Movement Collective, we provide personalised physiotherapy designed to help adults move better and stay active throughout every stage of life. Every plan begins with a thorough assessment of your history, movement and goals, so your treatment feels right for you from the very first session.

Treatment might include evidence-based techniques, gentle hands-on manual therapy, dry needling and targeted exercise rehabilitation, chosen to suit your needs and comfort. We also track your strength and mobility with VALD technology, so your progress is measured, your plan keeps moving forward, and your independence is supported for the long term.

Exercise Physiotherapy

Exercise Physiotherapy

Exercise physiotherapy combines clinical assessment with personalised exercise prescription that may restore movement, reduce pain, and rebuild strength. We design programs that progressively load your body in a safe and structured way, supporting recovery from injury and long-term musculoskeletal health. This may include resistance training, mobility work, and functional strengthening tailored to your needs. Our physiotherapists have a particular interest in managing osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and other lifestyle-related conditions through targeted exercise, and we’re proud to be an accredited GLA:D® Australia clinic.

Exercise physiotherapy is, for many people, also the first step toward ongoing training through physiotherapist-led Clinical Strength classes, providing continuity of care and long-term support in maintaining progress.

Clinical Pilates Classes

Clinical Pilates

Physiotherapist-led Pilates focused on improving posture, movement control, flexibility, and core strength, all without turning Pilates into a military exercise.

Clinical Strength Classes

Clinical Strength

Progressive strength training that aims to help you stay strong for life, recover from injury, keep up with the grandkids, or simply feel more confident moving every day.

NDIS Physiotherapy

NDIS Physiotherapy

Individualised physiotherapy to help NDIS participants address mobility, independence, and everyday functioning.

Falls and Balance

Falls & Balance

Falls and balance physiotherapy uses personalised assessment and exercise to support strength, stability, mobility, and confidence with everyday movement. Your physiotherapist will tailor the program to your needs, abilities, and goals.

Our Clinical Strength classes are delivered by experienced physiotherapists in small groups of no more than four participants. Each program is tailored to your individual goals and ability, making it ideal for injury rehabilitation, building strength and muscle mass, improving bone health, managing persistent pain, or maintaining an active and independent lifestyle.

We aim to offer hands-on treatment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation that may help you recover from injury, reduce pain, and restore movement.

More Than Your Average Physio Clinic

We know recovery doesn’t end when the pain settles. (Wouldn’t that be nice?) We also know recovery isn’t always a straight line. There are good weeks, frustrating weeks, and sometimes the mysterious ‘I slept funny’ week.

That’s why we’ve created a clinic where physiotherapy is just the starting point. Our integrated approach combines hands-on care with exercise rehabilitation, Clinical Pilates, and physiotherapist-led Clinical Strength classes, supporting you to continue building strength and confidence long after your initial treatment.

Whether it’s returning to work, enjoying time with family, or staying active as you age, we’ll help you find the right pathway to get there.

Conditions We Support

Our team provides physiotherapy and exercise-based rehabilitation for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, aiming to support you to reduce pain, improve movement, and stay active.

Osteoporosis Treatment

Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is a condition that reduces bone density, making bones more fragile and increasing the risk of fractures. Exercise plays an important role in managing osteoporosis by aiming to improve strength, balance, and overall movement control. Physiotherapist-guided exercise programs typically include progressive resistance training and weight-bearing exercises to help support bone health and reduce fall risk.

A tailored approach is essential, since the type and intensity of exercise must suit each person's capacity and fracture risk. With the right guidance, regular exercise has the potential to support confidence and long-term mobility over time.

Back Pain Treatment

Back Pain

Back pain can be frustrating, limiting, and at times overwhelming, whether it's something sudden or something that's built up over time. We work with you to understand what's contributing to your pain, build strength and confidence in your body, and help you get back to the activities that matter most.

Knee pain treatment

Knee Pain

Knee pain can affect everything from walking and climbing stairs to exercise, sport and everyday activities. Whether it's come on gradually or started suddenly, we assess your knee, identify the factors contributing to your symptoms, and support you to move with confidence again.

Physiotherapy

Shoulder Pain

Shoulder pain can make even simple movements difficult: reaching overhead, lifting, sleeping, or getting dressed. Many people avoid using their shoulder when it becomes painful. In most cases, the right type of movement and strengthening is essential for recovery. We’ll help you understand what may be safe, what to avoid, and how to progress.

Neck Pain Treatment

Neck Pain

Neck pain can affect everything from your ability to concentrate at work to how well you sleep at night. Whether it’s a constant stiffness, sharp pain when turning your head, or tension building through your shoulders, it can quickly become frustrating and limiting. We’ll guide you through a clear and structured plan to help build strength, improve movement and reduce sensitivity.

Hip Pain Treatment

Hip Pain

Hip pain can make everyday movements, like getting out of a chair, walking longer distances, or getting in and out of the car, uncomfortable. Through a personalised assessment, we'll build a management plan tailored to your symptoms, lifestyle and goals.

Osteoarthritis treatment

Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis can lead to joint pain, stiffness and reduced mobility, making everyday activities more challenging over time. We'll work with you to build practical strategies and an individualised exercise program that supports your mobility, function and lifestyle.

Physiotherapy: Frequently Asked Questions

Nope! Whether you’re recovering from a chronic or acute injury, managing ongoing pain, or looking to improve your movement, you’re welcome to book directly with our team. If you’ve been referred by your GP or another healthcare professional, we’re happy to work alongside them to support your care.

We’ll start with a thorough assessment, discussing your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and goals. We’ll watch how you move (don’t worry, there’s no pass or fail system!), explain our findings, and develop a personalised treatment plan. Depending on your needs, this may include hands-on treatment, manual therapy, exercise physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates, Clinical Strength classes, or a combination of approaches.

Both services are physiotherapist-led and tailored to your individual needs, but they address different aspects of rehabilitation. Clinical Pilates emphasises movement quality, core strength, posture, and control, while Clinical Strength focuses on progressive resistance training to build strength, support function, and support long-term health. After an initial assessment, your physiotherapist will recommend the approach that’s most appropriate for your goals.

Absolutely! Physiotherapy isn’t just for injuries. We work with many adults aged 50 and over who want to maintain their strength, balance, and mobility, manage age-related conditions, and continue doing the activities they enjoy. Through personalised treatment and exercise programs, we aim to help you stay active with confidence.

Most private health funds will cover physiotherapy, and even Clinical Pilates, depending on your level of cover and the specifics of your treatment plan. See your fund’s PDS or get in touch with them directly for more information about what’s covered and how much.
