Experienced Physiotherapists Helping You Move Better, for Life

It turns out that your high school PE teacher was right all along. Exercise really can be fun!

At Better Movement Collective, we aim to help you see it that way too. As well as being good old-fashioned fun, we also believe movement is one of the most powerful tools we have for improving health, reducing pain, and helping you live life on your terms.

Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a long-term condition, or investing in your future health, our experienced physiotherapists provide personalised care that’s designed around your goals, not just your symptoms.

From physiotherapy and exercise rehabilitation programs to Clinical Pilates and Clinical Strength classes, we’re here to help you get up and moving in a way that suits you.

Our Movement-Led Services

We aim to offer hands-on treatment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation that may help you recover from injury, reduce pain, and restore movement.

Exercise Physiotherapy uses personalised, evidence-based exercise to help you reduce pain, improve strength, restore movement, and stay active for life. Our physiotherapists have a particular interest in managing osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, and other lifestyle-related conditions through targeted exercise, and we’re proud to be an accredited GLA:D® Australia clinic.

Our Clinical Pilates classes are delivered by experienced physiotherapists in small groups of no more than four participants. Each program is tailored to your individual needs, making it ideal for injury rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, managing pain, or improving strength and movement for lifelong health.

Our Clinical Strength classes are delivered by experienced physiotherapists in small groups of no more than four participants. Each program is tailored to your individual goals and ability, making it ideal for injury rehabilitation, building strength and muscle mass, improving bone health, managing persistent pain, or maintaining an active and independent lifestyle.

Individualised physiotherapy to help NDIS participants address mobility, independence, and everyday functioning.

Falls and balance physiotherapy uses personalised assessment and exercise to support strength, stability, mobility, and confidence with everyday movement. Your physiotherapist will tailor the program to your needs, abilities, and goals.

More Than a Physio Clinic

We know that recovery doesn’t end when the pain settles. (How great would that be, though?) We know recovery isn’t always a straight line. There are good weeks, frustrating weeks, and sometimes the mysterious ‘I slept funny’ week.

That’s why we’ve created a clinic where physiotherapy is just the beginning. Our integrated approach combines hands-on care with exercise rehabilitation, Clinical Pilates, and physiotherapist-led Clinical Strength classes, helping you continue building strength and confidence long after your initial treatment.

Whether your goal is returning to work, enjoying time with family, or staying active as you age, we’ll help you find the right pathway to get there.

Frequently Asked Questions About Physiotherapy

Nope! Whether you’re recovering from a chronic or acute injury, managing ongoing pain, or looking to improve your movement, you can book directly with our team. If you’ve been referred by your GP, specialist, or another healthcare professional, we’re happy to work alongside them to support your care.
First things first: we’ll start with a thorough assessment where we’ll discuss your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and goals. We’ll watch how you move (don’t worry, there’s no pass or fail system!), explain our findings, and develop a personalised treatment plan. Depending on your needs, this may include hands-on treatment, manual therapy, exercise physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates, Clinical Strength classes, or a combination of approaches.
Both services are physiotherapist-led and tailored to your individual needs, but they focus on different aspects of rehabilitation. Clinical Pilates emphasises movement quality, core strength, posture, and control, while Clinical Strength focuses on progressive resistance training to build strength, improve function, and support long-term health. After an initial assessment, your physiotherapist will recommend the approach that’s most appropriate for your goals.
Absolutely! Physiotherapy isn’t just for injuries. We work with many adults aged 50 and over who want to maintain their strength, balance, and mobility, manage age-related conditions, and continue doing the activities they enjoy. Through personalised treatment and exercise programs, we aim to help you stay active with confidence.
Most private health funds will cover physiotherapy and even Clinical Pilates, depending on your level of cover and the specifics of your treatment plan. See your fund’s PDS or contact them directly for more information about what is covered and how much.
